Setting up a work blog

I've been spending a fair amount of time recently
setting up a new blog for my work writings. You can see it here: I.T. Architect
in Academia. Though soon I will probably move it up one level in the
directory to http://arch.doit.wisc.edu/jim/
I'm using WordPress for my work blog. I must say I'm
very impressed with WordPress. It was quick to set up (initially) though you
can spend days customizing it. There are a ton of plugins and themes. Check
out Alex King's Theme Browser for the current set
of themes being judged for a the WordPress theme contest. There are currently
139 (!) themes in the contest.
I just "finished" setting up my current theme and then I found a REALLY COOL NEW THEME. "Maybe I should migrate to that one!" This is yet another way that blogs can chew up the hours.
Enjoy!
