Speaking of bad design - Target Stores also blew it.

Have you noticed how hard it is to distinguish
between the Entrance and Exit doors at Target stores?
That is because they used white letters on red
backgrounds for both their "Entrance" and "Exit" signs. We are trained that
RED
means STOP or WRONG WAY and
GREEN
means GO or THIS WAY. Target's branding is all
RED and
White based (red and white bulls-eye, red lettering, red Target card
etc.)
I know that branding is important but they really should have made and exception for the Entrance signs on their doors.
