Cotler Defends Choudhury


Terry reports that former justice minister Irwin Cotler is acting as counsel for Shoaib Choudhury. The Liberal MP spoke in the House of Commons yesterday, calling upon the Bangladesh authorities to drop the charges against the journalist and arrest those who have violated his rights.

And, perhaps in horror at my last post, Terry says that the real dilemma facing progressives is what to do about the NDP.
