Windsor under scrutinyThere is a new blog of blogs in town and
Al-Jazeera is covering the area as well. Meanwhile local MPs are doing the
Hezbollah shuffle.
The Blue Blogging Soapbox
has set up a news and blog aggregator for Windsor and Essex County: W.E. Speak. I've joined
up and you can see the list of all the participants on the blog roll over there
on the right of the page.
At the moment the top post on the BBS is about Windsor's two NDP members of Parliament, who think listing Hezbollah as a terrorist organization may have been a mistake. Much as I like Joe and Brian, and they have had my support in the past, I have to say I'm disappointed. Too bad no one seems willing to say that negotiating with terrorists is sometimes necessary. Making it illegal to support a terrorist organization is quite a different matter. Yesterday the Windsor Star reported that dozens of local web sites had been defaced by a pro-Hezbollah hacker. Today the paper has a story about Al-Jazeera covering recent pro-Lebanese demonstrations with their own local stringer. I'm taking off again for a few days. Bye.
