Blogging software

This one was quick and easy

The July 2003 issue of MacWorld has an article on weblogs that compares 7 different software programs. I want to try out several, since most of them offer free demos. Right now I'm using iBlog, which might be the easiest. It only works on Macs running OSX so I want to find some that run under system 9 in case Chris ever catches the blogging bug.

First impressions: I downloaded, installed the software and then created my first blog in about 20 minutes. You don't need to do any coding, just enter text and push a few buttons.

So far everything is running using the default settings. I want to try rearranging the layout and design later.

There is no manual and I have gone to the iBlog website a couple times for help. Although it's simple I still had to do a few trial and error attempts to find out how it works. I have also looked at several sample blogs linked at the iBlog site to see what's possible.
