Cheney Booed When Shown On Screen At Yankees GameI guess it would make sense if he was wearing that
Yankees hat in Boston, but they were in New
York...
from thebostonchannel.com: Cheney was booed when he was shown on the right-field videoboard during the seventh-inning stretch. But Vice President potty-mouth put it best when he said, "all those Yankee fans can just go !@#$% themselves..." NEW YORK -- Vice
President Dick Cheney was on hand for Tuesday's sell-out game between the
Yankees and Red Sox in New
York.
But the VP probably didn't win any votes in New England as he donned a Yankees baseball hat. Cheney visited both clubhouses after batting practice and watched part of the game from the box of Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. He also spent time in first-row seat next to the Yankees dugout, where he sat between New York Gov. George Pataki and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. Cheney was booed when he was shown on the right-field videoboard during the seventh-inning stretch. Posted: Wed - June 30, 2004 at 08:08 PM |

Why We're Here
![]() I never considered myself to be left of anything; but lately I feel like Simon said, "Everybody take a giant step right" and I wasn't listening. One Voice Left has two meanings: being a voice from the 'Left', and feeling a little like I'm the last one... Human rights issues, political news and commentary are linked from here, with a smattering of my favorite music and some personal photography. Enjoy! Categories
