Model Work


Nobody starts out a new venture expecting it to fail. Yet, so many do that you have to wonder how we all keep going.

I spent a few weekends earlier this fall trying my hand at working with some local models. In my seemingly endless supply of naivete, I thought this would be a walk in the park of sorts.

In some ways it was. In other ways... much less so.

The models I actually did end up working with were for the most part very professional and hard working.

As for the others... well... I'll just leave that unsaid.

At any rate, it ceased to be fun, so I ceased to do it.

I still hope someday to do artistic nude work, like The Greatest Gift.

The body is truly a beautiful and mysterious object to behold. How does this form we are born into have such an impact on our lives? Why are we drawn to one and not another? What does how we treat our body say about us? Is there some universal measure of beauty?
