Celebrate Human Rights Day!
From Amnesty International USA: December 10, 2004 marks the 56th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This is a great opportunity to bring awareness to and take action around human rights issues. You can take part in letter writing events like
these, or attend local events.
Now that the United States seems to have abandoned any pretense of being a defender of human rights, committing its own acts of torture and atrocity, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is even more important than ever before. Please read it and support Amnesty International in working to uphold it -- everywhere. Posted: Fri - December 10, 2004 at 04:10 PM |

Why We're Here
![]() One Voice Left has two meanings: being a voice from the 'Left', and feeling a little like I'm the last one... Human rights issues, political news and commentary are linked from here, with a smattering of my favorite music and some personal photography. Enjoy! Categories
