White Pine Acres is a very small family-operated Christmas tree farm that is maintained primarily as a hobby. We first started in 1987 and have been selling trees to the public for the past 13 years.

Examples of Available Trees
We have very few trees over 6 feet tall.

We have been low on quantity and quality of trees for the past 2 years due to droughts 8 to 10 years ago. This year’s drought has only made matters worse.

Drought takes it’s toll!
Mature trees have died or had their growth stunted because of the drought this year.

It would probably be best for us to close the farm for a couple of years as some of the other local tree farms have. However, after nurturing family traditions of coming here to get a tree, we just don’t have the heart to close.

At this time we expect to have a large number of high quality trees again in the next few years.

The future looks bright!
A fresh crop should be ready for cutting by the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Tree Farmer’s Nightmare over three fourths of the new seedlings planted this year have died.
