Laroque has several good places to eat and drink:
Hotel Catalan has a good bar, with outdoor tables shaded by a huge plane tree planted in the mid-1800s.
La Cueva serves tapas and Spanish-inspired main courses, and is the best bet in the village if you are vegetarian.
Casa Lili, a bar with small seating area, is reputedly good though we haven't yet tried it.
Les Palmiers is particularly good, and the lower-priced menus are still of high quality, just more limited in choice and quantity. Though it could not honestly be described as cheap, we think it's good value.
Pizza Man is a take-out pizza joint in the group of shops on the north side of the main street. In addition, every Tuesday and Saturday evenings a travelling wood burning pizza van parks outside the Mairie.
The Shamroc, a bistro-style bar and restaurant with very pleasant outside seating in the shade of mature plane trees, is ideal for a lazy day's lunch. It also has live music on summer evenings.
