The downstairs apartment

This rental apartment contains a kitchen/dining room, a small sitting room, a double bedroom, and a twin-bedded room. It has a total of one bath tub, two WCs, three WHBs, and three showers. The flat provides a variety of indoor entertainment, is heated, and though not wheelchair accessible is otherwise suitable for elderly or infirm persons.

Kitchen/dining room

In the kitchen area, the stove has a gas oven and 4-ring gas hob, plus an electric grill at the top of the oven. The gas supply is bottled butane. The fridge has a 4-star freezer compartment. Other equipment includes a microwave oven, filter coffee maker, electric kettle, etc.

The dining table seats 6 (or 8 at a squeeze; the table extends at each end). This bright room has one large and three small windows.

Blue bedroom

This large double-bedded room has an en suite bathroom with bath tub, shower, WC and WHB. There is a large oak wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a couple of comfortable chairs. The bedroom has a large window; the bathroom has its own small window.

Green bedroom

This medium-sized twin-bedded room has a shower cabinet and WHB neatly tucked into one corner. The beds are usually located on opposite sides of the room, but can be placed together if desired. There is a built-in wardrobe and a small chest of drawers. The room has two large windows.

Sitting room

The small room at the bottom of the internal stairs provides a separate sitting area where, for example, the kids may escape from their parents (or vice versa). In this room we provide a TV, satellite receiver (digibox) and DVD player. The room has one large and two small windows.

Separate shower/utility room

This room contains the ancient central heating boiler (still giving sterling service in the winter months), the electrically-heated hot water tank, plus a modern washing machine and recently installed shower, WC and WHB. It has no window, but there is an extractor fan.
