Azazel Story

Azazel turns a critic into a poet and a poet into a critic, thus ruining everybody’s life.

This is a light-hearted attack on critics, of course, something which one expects of any professional author, although one assumes that the critics have been generally kinder on Asimov than on some others. (He did, however, have his share of people who were deliberately negative in reviews of his books because of who he was.) I found the explicit anti-critic attitude Asimov attributes to himself a bit over the top but not intolerable. A nice story, on the whole.
