Beware of Richard Huxley aka Enjoy_The_Music Warning, stay away from this person. Do not trust him in any way. He advertises on ebay under the name Enjoy_the_music His newest scam is claiming units are convertible from 100V to 117V. This is false. Units will either be destroyed upon power up or will work well above specified voltages and burn out. This has already happened once that we know of. Often very poor solder joints and changed parts are seen in these amplifiers. he also likes to make claims like "checked out by Shindo" or other such remarks. The truth is that Shindo will not repair, upgrade or service anything this thief touches. We have already had him banned from Audiogon and have people working on Ebay. We've also contacted the French authorities. We have found his business is illegal with items often shipping from England instead of his location in France to avoid taxes. We have reported him. He has sold counterfeit products, badly damaged amplifiers and poorly modified units. Buyer beware. Update! 3/22/08 He has just listed a counterfeit Shindo 301 Player system on ebay claiming it to be a ex-demonstration piece. This is not a real Shindo 301 Player system! Beware! If you look carefully you will see the mat and tonearm are quite wrong which give it away as a fake. Shindo Laboratory or its partners will not repair, support, advise or offer replacement parts for any products having passed through Richard Huxley's hands. We strongly advise against purchasing from this criminal.
