Michael, Casual Listener and Audiophile:
"It was Justin who started me on the whole film score craze. When I was younger, I remember being in a movie theater, not wanting to leave when the end credits scrolled because I wanted to listen to the music. Looking back, I've recently become aware of my distinct appreciation for film music, even at an early age. To give you some indication of how old I was before I actually started purchasing titles under this unique (and much overlooked and underrated) genre, my first score was Jurassic Park. In fact, even as a young teenager, I was subject to the limitations of the industry when I tried (unsuccessfully, of course) to locate the score-only release to the Tom Cruise film, Days Of Thunder. Sadly, the Zimmer score was never released. Maybe to some, this would be a good thing.
