amanda + matthew in NYC

Amanda + Matthew are the last of our NYC photo adventures-we weren't really given a great day to work with-it POURED buckets of rain as the time rolled around to start shooting-but we made the best of it!

Amanda + Matthew are getting married in Michigan next year so we had the opportunity to do their pre-bridals in NYC and had a blast avoiding the rain, and we got some images we just adore-some for our new site too!

To duck out of the rain we found this amazing place where they recycle (I am guessing?) magazines-but hey it was covered and the pile was super cool. The men working around us did think we were nuts with the bride and groom on top of a pile of newspapers-but we had fun! Amanda was super super brave BTW! She got major points in my book for having NO reservations whatsoever!

Whitney's Headshot's

You may remember Whitney's amazing wedding at Meadowbrook in june-if not click here to refresh your memory of how gorgeous it was!


We were in NYC and Whitney needed some new headshots (she is an actress on Broadway) and we were so thrilled to try our first headshot session with her-we love what we captured-but to be fair-it wasn't hard-Whitney is gorgeous!

Thanks guys for the awesome recommendation of the Restaurant Hell's Kitchen-it was delicious-and our friends loved it too!

Anna + Steve

Please please forgive me wonderful blog readers for our long absence! We have been traveling to shoot weddings, as well as both battling major sinus infections (fun!) so we are going to get back on track! Because we have SOOO much to blog I will have to keep the next few posts short on talk but loooooonnng on images. Enjoy!

First up are the wonderful Anna + Steve who were married on August 4th, 2007:

We had a perfectly wonderful day with Anna + Steve and all their friends! We got to shoot a their gorgeous sun-drenched ceremony at the beautiful Inn at Bay Harbor overlooking the water!

we adore emmie + jake!! We had a blast photographing their wedding at Emmie's mother's home a few weeks ago-it was gorgeous...we have a flight to catch in the morning at 7 a.m. so I don't have time to elaborate on how much I loved this wedding, but I will when we return! I wanted to make sure this sneak peek was up before we left!

I just love what nathan and I were able to capture at Alicia + Emerson's wedding-we had a blast hanging out with them and meeting all of their wonderful family. Chelsea's kickin senior session

I know, I know, we have been terrible bloggers AGAIN! We have been traveling quite a bit for weddings and have some awesome weddings to blog that you will adore as do we...we will get to them as soon as we can. We have so much to catch up on I don't know where to start, so I will start with Chelsea's amazing senior session a few weeks ago. Chelsea is an amazing swimmer as well as all around fabulous girl. Great style! When she came to us, she really wanted senior photos that suited her desire to stand out from the crowd and be different-we love that! We really enjoyed shooting the session with Chelsea and can't wait to hopefully shoot some sessions for her friends!

Brian + Lindsay

Brian + Lindsay are the most upbeat and positive couple I have ever met-we just love them! They were also up for anything which we also adore! They were married at Castle Farms in Charlevoix and we had a great time meeting their friends and loving family. Here is a bit of what we captured:

Lindsey + Marty
lindsey + marty (777!)

Lindsey and Marty were our wonderful 777 couple and we really enjoyed being a part of their day-such wonderful family they have! The toasts were all wonderful, funny and touching! I wish I had time to blog more, but it's been a busy week! Enjoy guys!
