Anna + Steve

Please please forgive me wonderful blog readers for our long absence! We have been traveling to shoot weddings, as well as both battling major sinus infections (fun!) so we are going to get back on track! Because we have SOOO much to blog I will have to keep the next few posts short on talk but loooooonnng on images. Enjoy!

First up are the wonderful Anna + Steve who were married on August 4th, 2007:

We had a perfectly wonderful day with Anna + Steve and all their friends! We got to shoot a their gorgeous sun-drenched ceremony at the beautiful Inn at Bay Harbor overlooking the water!

we adore emmie + jake!! We had a blast photographing their wedding at Emmie's mother's home a few weeks ago-it was gorgeous...we have a flight to catch in the morning at 7 a.m. so I don't have time to elaborate on how much I loved this wedding, but I will when we return! I wanted to make sure this sneak peek was up before we left!

Alicia + Emerson

I just love what nathan and I were able to capture at Alicia + Emerson's wedding-we had a blast hanging out with them and meeting all of their wonderful family. I captured some images that for sure will make their way on to our new site launching in just a few weeks (cannot wait!!) Enjoy what we saw:

Brian + Lindsay

Brian + Lindsay are the most upbeat and positive couple I have ever met-we just love them! They were also up for anything which we also adore! They were married at Castle Farms in Charlevoix and we had a great time meeting their friends and loving family. Here is a bit of what we captured:

Lindsey + Marty

Lindsey and Marty were our wonderful 777 couple and we really enjoyed being a part of their day-such wonderful family they have! The toasts were all wonderful, funny and touching! I wish I had time to blog more, but it's been a busy week! Enjoy guys!

Tara + Justin

We had a spectacular time photographing Tara + Justin's gorgeous wedding at Shenandoah country club in West Bloomfield. I got to play with my new Tilt Shift lens a bit, and love the results, hence why I am showing so many from their portrait session. Tara was so brave-first off she wasn't afraid to sit in the grass for me, and secondly, golf balls kept flying past our heads! Apparently we had no clue we were sitting right below the tee off. Opps! Anyway, Tara + Justin were richly rewarded with amazing photographs for braving the field and flying golf balls. Congrats guys-hope Greece was amazing as I imagine Greece is! Thanks for choosing us!

Lisa + Rastko

We have been looking forward to Lisa + Rastko's wedding for so long! I just adore them as a couple-they fit together so perfectly-and are so much fun to be around! We had a beautiful day to work with and I think we made some beautiful images for them. They had a persian ceremony as they entered the reception which was so much fun to photograph! We also got to work with the wonderful Don and Joanne from Take 1 Productions. They were so great and easy to work with-and their videos are just stunning and cinematic-check them out! I believe they are still off honeymooning in the Alfmafi Coast and Serbia, so hopefully they will get to see this when they return.

Abbey + Barry

Barry and Abbey are so wonderful-we were felt truly privileged to be a part of their day. Abbey was in a car accident the day before the wedding, and was so fortunate that she came out of it with only a minor scratch on her cheek when her whole car was totaled. The day was perfect weather, and both were enthusiastic about all my photo ideas-even dodging golf balls on the golf course and getting dirty in the field-I always appreciate it when clients trust us so much! That means they are rewarded with great photos! Anyway, enjoy the sneak peek! Hope you had a great honeymoon!

Jessica + Travis

We were honored to be a part of Jessica + Travis's wedding a few weeks ago (can you tell we have been busy??). Whitney + Mark

We had two amazing weddings last weekend on Friday and Saturday-if we could describe both in one word it would be: effortless. We were just present, capturing amazing images at each-that is a great feeling to have our clients trust us to just do our thing-and the results are always worth it!

Friday we finally got to meet the wonderful Whitney and Mark and their super kind and amazing family and bridal party-it was such a treat to photograph such kind and easygoing people! Whitney and Mark share a bond that everyone could just feel when they were around each other. Whitney's style reminded both of us so much of the gorgeous Grace Kelly-so put together and classic...the dress was just stunning! Thank you so much you two for letting us into your lives for one amazing day. We hope you enjoy your images and get to relive your day all over again!

Jessica + Mike

We had an amazing time photographing Mike + Jessica's wedding last saturday! We got to work with many new vendors, and really enjoyed that. Mike is from South Africa and his family traveled so far to come-it was really moving. Mike is a photographer as well as master hunter who conducts African Safari's. I hope I can go on one one day!

Rana + Randy

Venue: The Inn at St. John's Grande Ballroom

Rana and Randy were just a joy to photograph....we had so much fun, and I know I say that alot, but we really did. When Rana met with us, she said "all I want are 20 great photos from my wedding" and I think she got that! So laid back and awesome to work for, we love you guys! We also got to work with our favorite videographer, Ryan Koral of Epic Weddings . You can check out Rana + Randy's same day edit (that was a hit at the reception!) HERE. They then wisked off to two weeks in the Greek Isles, and I am sure they have returned by now...so enjoy!

When we arrived, Rana's mom had gotten her dress all ready for me to photograph-and Rana knew I would love that!

Angie + John

Again, we are so busy, we have been bad bloggers! Angie and John were married on May 11th, and we had a blast photographing them and their super fun bridal party! Angie and her Dad had a lovely bond, and we were really moved by the emotive images we captured between them.

Kathleen + Ken

We had an awesome time out in East Lansing Photographing Kathleen + Ken's wonderful wedding. Great family, amazing bridal party and friends. It was a truly enjoyable day for us getting to know everyone. One of Kathleen's bridesmaids Rana is our bride in just two weeks-so look for her wedding blog post soon! They should be returning from their amazing tour of Italy tomorrow, so time to blog!
