a feature new clients may not know about-on the
right hand side of the blog there is a little box that says "notify me!". Enter
your e-mail there and you will get an e-mail every time the blog is updated! We
of course only use the mailing list to notify the blog, nothing
more.

we made the news!
we were so excited when we found out last week
that we would be featured on the front page of the Business section of the Ann
Arbor News this past monday. We loved the way the article turned out. We have
already received a lot of interest from it as well which was so neat! We really
liked talking about our upcoming portrait ventures, etc.

We are PDN Top Knots Winners!
We were so thrilled to find out a few months ago
that we placed two images in the annual PDN Top Knots (the new school of wedding
photography) contest. PDN is short for Photo District News, and is the top
magazine for the photo industry. This contest is huge and thousands of photos
are entered every year. I am so amazed that we placed two!! We just got our copy
in the mail yesterday, and were so excited to show everyone here on the
blog!
If anyone wants to pick up a copy, you can buy it at any book store in the Photography/Art section of the magazines!
Anyway, here are the spreads from the magazine:
and the winning images a little closer:
a favorite of mine, and it even graces the top of our blog at all times! From Terra and Brian's wedding in October of 2006.
and my favorite shot from Darren and Kristine's wedding this past summer. You can see this hanging up in our studio huge as a 20x30 gallery wrap canvas-I adore it!

Vegas!
We are off tomorrow (3/25) for our annual Wedding
and Portrait Photographers International photo convention in Las Vegas. In
addition to doing tons of classes, we will also be doing some hopefully amazing
photo shoots too-so look for those blogs when we return on the
30th.
When we get back we will have today's awesome wedding (congrats John + Heather!!!) blogged as well!
Please note we will be checking e-mail daily, but again, getting a hold of us via phone is not going to be easy. Please e-mail us if you need anything while we are gone.

vacation!
We are off on a much needed vacation before the
season starts again, so we will be unavailable ALL next week M-F and the Studio
is closed.
We will be checking e-mail once during our trip to respond to inquiries, etc, but all Voicemail will be returned on Monday the 19th.
If you need something right away, you can e-mail, but if it is not urgent, just wait till we return on the 19th and we will get right back to you!

We were thrilled to place second in two
