NOTICE: BLOG HAS MOVED

You can now find content here: NEW BUB BLOG. I just couldn't take the crappy blog software i was using and so had to switch to wordpress.

What the hell is this...

This 10 ft tall ad was outside of a store here in Shanghai. I'm pretty sure its a male strip club where the dancers are really young. But it could be a finishing school for youngster. You know, teach em' the ways of the world, how to smoke a pipe, and wear leather boots and stuff.

Ping Pong Ping Pong Full Of Passion

The Ping Pong World Championship something or other just kicked off here in Shanghai this weekend. I caught a glimpse of the opening ceremonies on TV. The theme song was awesome. "The orange ball spinning magically.... Ping Pong Ping Pong full of passion." It really made me feel like i've been taking Ping Pong playing way too lightly. I also sort of like the very strange site of woman dressed up as trophies. You can't get away with stuff like that in the US. (don't tell vicky) :)

All the Ingredients Right Here

Green Tea, computer cables, pens. What else is there? maybe some tasty noodles and my Murse (man purse) (or Urban Male Bag). I have to say that I'm still not 100% sold on the taste of Green Tea, but I definitely feel alot better when I drink it instead of coffee. Mostly its the ability to form full sentences after 5pm, oh yeah and alot less drool on the couch too. I've recently heard there is a Tea Market here in town. I'll have to check it out and see if I can score some good tea. I'm a big fan of getting things "At the Source."

Living on the Edge

Just another picture of why I'm not in construction here in China. This guy was about 3 stories up putting together the bamboo scaffolding that is the trademark sign of construction here in Shanghai. (That and the Green canvas covering that goes over buildings before they are torn down).

Sprite On Fire!

I really like everything about this. When I saw this at my convenience store I had to try it. At first taste, you feel totally cheated. It tastes like normal Sprite. Where is the fire? does fire mean orange taste, does it mean cherry taste? A few more sips and I started to feel the fire. A nice burning sensation in the very back of the throat. Not really spicy... but just a little fire. I guess that's why the "on Fire" is so small on the can.
