The Palo Alto Area, American Red Cross is one of almost 1,000 chapters nationwide that deliver disaster preparedness and response, health and safety training, and international social services. Chartered in 1916, the chapter’s mission is to help individuals prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Funds raised from the sale of CHUMS greeting cards will enable the Red Cross to help people cope with large and small-scale natural disasters and personal emergencies (e.g., accidents, fires, earthquakes, injuries, and heart attacks).
The Palo Alto Area chapter serves the communities of Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Stanford and Moffett Field.
