ALBERT S. WETZEL, 62, of 2022 Centre St., Ashland, died Friday morning at the Wernersville Hospital, where he had been admitted three weeks ago.
He lived in Ashland for the past year, previously lived in Taylorsville, Ashland R.D. He was a laborer. Member of Christ in Christian Union Church, Ashland R.D. 1.
Son of the late ISREAL* and ELIZABETH BENSINGER WETZEL, he was born in Mt. Carmel, March 13 1900.
Survivors: wife, EMMA SHIPMAN WETZEL; six children: MRS. GARY BRADLEY, Harrisburg; DONALD, HARRY, SANDRA, ROBERT, and WILLIAM all at home; one grandchild; two brothers, JOHN E. WETZEL, Lavelle; EUGENE WETZEL, Lexington Park, MD; two sisters, MRS. HANNAH REICHWEIN, Norristown; MRS. CATHARINE HUNSINGER, Sugarloaf, Pa.
Funeral Services: Monday, 2:00 PM, Church of the Nazarene, Lavelle. Revs. Carl Swanger, Ashland, and Donald Phillips, Lavelle, officiated. Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD.
Burial: Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle, Pa.
