LATE WORK:  

Homework is due in class or by the first break after the day's class if you're having printer problems.   After break, it's late and will not be accepted.

Projects and essays may be turned in late, but will marked down one grade for each day late.   On major assignments, absence is no excuse:   if you are sick, send it with a sibling, your driver, or a friend. Groups must present on the day assigned, whether a member is absent or not, and will be marked down for missing information.   You may rewrite for a higher grade only if essay was turned in on time originally.

GENERAL RULES:

1. Respect others and their property
2. Be on time!
3. Always do your best
4. Be on task at all times
5. Always be prepared

Now, what do I mean by "being prepared"?   This is an English class.   We write almost every day. Thus, you should always have paper, pen and pencil, in addition to whatever text or other materials we are using.

All work should be turned in on A4.   Not A5, not a half sheet of paper you borrowed from your friend.   Rough and final drafts of essays MUST BE TYPED, as you will put these through turnitin.com.  All other work should be done in pencil or blue or black ink. No other colors, and definitely not PINK, whatever you do!!   Anything in pink earns minus 1,000 points and I will personally make sure your worst enemy is seated next to you in class!
