Emelrene is the most obscure and mysterious state in northwestern Lythia. It lies just to the east of Melderyn (across the Melderyni Chanel), south of Shorkyne, and west of Palithane and Trierzon. Emelrene has a special, though ambiguous, relationship with Melderyn - both are ostensibly feudal states, but with powerful arcane orders exerting significant influence.
The largest settlements of Emelrene are Berema (the capital), Alwin, Maxir, Deserid, Raleth, Malad and Aregan. There are 17 castles, 70 keeps and over 2,500 manors in Emelrene.
