Moments
later I accidentally threw my beloved camera across the room.... There were real
tears. And I'm sure it won't be my LAST picture. I'm just... between cameras at
the moment.
(And, thankfully, it wasn't
so obvious as my slipping in the shaving cream. That would have just been
sad.)
Amber's
ending 5 years in CP's care today.... She's so much a part of the place, it's
hard to imagine her gone. I've only been
there a matter of weeks and I'm going to miss her terribly. I hate to think how
hard this is going to be for both her and CP....
Here they all came, trooping back from
the bus stop after a morning's
adventure.
I love my boss. The woman's
INSANE, in the absolute best way. We're doing weekly field trips with the kids
for the rest of the summer, and she prefers taking them on public
transportation. They
adore
it, and so far two out of the three trips have included the toddlers as well.
Gotta love those monster strollers.
Three wading pools + dish soap + jetting
water + a bunch of kids = FUN.
Morning
was particularly messy, so CP decided we needed to wash the chairs. Our usual
swim time transformed into a sudsy, soapy
blast.
Things I love about this
picture: little Ruby (the one who
insists
I'm Rapunzel) stomping into the water in the center, Staurolite in a Peter
Pan-esque mid-air pose behind her, and most of all, over to the far left, if you
look really close, you'll see a toddler (can't remember what I nicknamed her
just at the moment) getting into the sink where she's not supposed to be.
Heh.
We have officially hired this amazing woman
to be our financial planner. I'm so
excited.
We all adore her, and K even
said she could be her Da (which blew both Myrna and I away), though I plan to
call her Papa for the purposes of this journal.
