•Vignettes are portraits that carefully depict the face but leave the rest of the portrait in an unresolved state. They're a little more
contemporary. They work especially well in children's portraits.
•Baby's First Year Collections include a one hour reference photo session in the studio for each milestone. Reference photos can also be taken on location for an additional fee of $75. Allow up to 2 and one - half hours (included) for a newborn photo shoot.
•A Triptych is a series of 3 drawings from the same photo shoot on a single sheet of paper. Examples include three different head views or a head, feet, and hands.
•Mother/Father and Baby includes up to half - length of mother and up to full - length of baby. For larger sizes an additional fee will be assessed.
•Prices listed are based on a life size single subject against a simple background.
Each additional subject costs 70% more. A second extra person is 50% more. Complex backgrounds cost 15 - 20% more. Examples of complex backgrounds include,
but are not limited to, intricate rug, house, painting, boat, and intricate clothing, jewelry, and props.
For posthumous portraits an additional 50% will be added to the cost.
•Giclée reproductions of completed portraits are available. The size is the same as the completed portrait, and the price depends on the size and whether the print is made on canvas or paper. Call for pricing.
•Sales tax will be added to price.
•Prices do not include artist travel expenses, framing costs, or shipping and handling fees.
•A deposit of one - third of the total cost is due with a signed contract commissioning a portrait.
A second payment of one - third of the total cost is due when the reference photo is selected by the client.
The final one - third of the balance is due when the completed portrait is delivered to and accepted by the client. |
