Diamant/Talbert Wedding

This bride needs to go into event planning! The couple (as most of my couples are) was as sweet as can be...but the bride - she had the eye for detail like I have not seen in awhile. She had so many little details that day - that made the photos turn out so awesome! I loved it - from newspapers with the date from New York, custom made poker chips, etc - it was awesome! I loved every second of this wedding - always something new to look for! :)

Warning - lots of photos - I will make them smaller - but still a lot!

A tradition their friends have - to meet at Hennessey's Tavern for drinks before the wedding.

Hancock/Fong Wedding

It was so fun to photograph this couple for their wedding. I have known the bride pretty much my entire life. Her older sister and my older sister were really good friends in high school. It was refreshing to do a wedding that was a little different. It was in her parents home (which looked great) and her dress was definitely not the "norm." She looked great and the couple was a perfect match! They seemed so happy together.

Berault/Taylor Wedding

So - Brian and I had a TON of fun shooting this wedding! Brian has been friends with the Groom for a LONG time - he was in our wedding (we did their engagement session at Crystal Cove a few weeks earlier - check out the Engagement Session of the blog). Anyway - it was fun to see old friends at the wedding - but the bride looked absolutely gorgeous. We got some great photos and I found a few new favorites of mine! :) Don Johnson did their ceremony and it was great (as usual). I had a hard time narrowing down the photos - so sorry there are so many - just scroll quickly if it's too much for you! :)

The groom getting ready for a long day. :)

Loved her dress. So simple.

Perfect shot of the bride!

Not sure why I like this one - just do. :)

Right before they head down the aisle....

A small intimate ceremony

GORGEOUS RING!

I like this photo even more than the actual kiss - I like how she is smiling before kissing him.

Attack of the veil.

ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITES - fits their personalities perfectly!!!

This also fits the groom's personality to a T

Sakai/Williams

Brian and I got to be a part of a beautiful wedding in September. Our friends Candy and Dave recommended us to the bride/groom and we really appreciate it. The B&G are great! We had a blast that day. Here are a few shots from their wedding...

Her dress was gorgeous!

We weren't allowed to move around at all in the church - and at the very end, Brian snuck out and around and shot through the door - the Bride looked at him at just the right time! :)

This was a first for us - never saw a bride (in person) climb on top of her groomsmen - they were good sports. :)

The bridesmaids thought it was hilarious. :)

I loved how she danced with her dad. Very close. This was at the end when they danced to a song that they would sing together (in Japanese I think) when she was little.

Tivoli Terrace Wedding

Brian and I LOVED this couple! I met the bride through my dentist and we just clicked. She is so sweet and her hubby is awesome! We had so much fun that day - and hope they did too! Here are a bunch of photos from the day. Enjoy!

The first glance...

We LOVE shooting at Tivoli!!!

Weddings in August

There were a few weddings we did in August that I haven't had a chance to blog yet. One I can't post any photos for certain reasons - but if that couple is looking at our blog - you guys were great! We loved being a part of your day! :) Here are some photos from a couple other weddings we did last month. The first couple was a referral from Tyler & Karie - Thanks guys! Referrals are the #1 way we get business and we REALLY appreciate it. Our other couple was the brother of a past bride. They were so easy to work with and we loved seeing past couples at the wedding!

This is the same flower girl that was in Tyler & Karie's wedding. She is such a cutie!

I loved how she reacted to getting her garter taken off! :)

Ric did a great job up there!

There were a TON of people on the beach - gotta love photoshop!

June 30th Wedding

Brian and I got to photograph such a sweet couple on June 30th at the LDS Newport Beach Temple. My younger sister did all the flowers - and did an amazing job. B & K were so relaxed even through their big list of "formals." It was a fun day - we all got nice sunburns - but worth it! :)

The bride's bouquet

The first dance

More of my sister's work

This was a first - I have never seen a bride's dogs hang out on her dress. They are definitely her little babies. :)

Nanette & Vince

Nanette & Vince had a beautiful wedding! Their venue was Tivoli Too! in Laguna Beach, and they decided to see each other beforehand to get some shots with the ocean in the background. They are such a sweet couple and their chemistry was great. I admire Vince so much for serving our state. Nanette is beautiful and it was such an honor to be a part of their special day. To see more photos from their big day - watch their SLIDE SHOW .

Janae & David's Wedding

Saturday was probably one of the best days I have had in a LONG time. My roommate from college 10 years ago got married in San Diego (Janae). She looked beautiful. It was a restaurant that was decked out in tropical/hawaiian decor and kind of felt like the 60's. She had Don Johnson (the best officiant we know!) drive down to marry them and he did a great job. It was SOOOOO weird being a guest at the wedding instead of the photographer. It was actually really hard for me. I constantly wanted to take photos! A HUGE benefit from going to the wedding (aside from seeing Janae-nae getting married) was seeing Krista. She was my roommate from day one (freshman year) and we just clicked. She is one of the coolest girls I know (and Brian approves too!). I am on a mission to get her moved out of Utah and over to Orange County. If any of you know of some cool girls that need a roommate, let me know! ;) Brian said I was probably the happiest he has seen me in awhile. It was just so great to see Janae and Krista! Here are some pix I took during the day...

San Juan Capistrano

Kimberley & Ryan are such good sports. The same day that we went to Laguna Beach to take "engagement" photos - we also took some bridal shots at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. It was a pretty cool place to shoot. I bought the dress for $200 from Jinny's Bridal in H.B. and Kimberley made her own flowers (pretty good, huh?) ;) Anyway - I had so many I liked - it was hard to narrow them down - so I am putting up a lot! :)

Christie and Mike

It has been nice being a "second" the last two weekends for Steve. This couple was so mellow and sweet. It was at the Bowers Museum (which I love) and was a very nice night.

Right before going out to get married

Kimberly & Chris

I had so much fun shooting "second" this weekend with a friend. I rarely get to do "Brian's" job - so it was fun to not direct - and just capture things as they happened. Here are some of my favorites from yesterday.

There were a lot of kids in the bridal party - they were SO cute

The bridesmaids had gorgeous flowers too

And of course - the happy couple.

Nick & Nectaria

We were so lucky to photograph Nick and Nectaria for their wedding April 15th. Thank you Isabel and Ric for recommending us!! (You guys rock!) Nectaria was in Isabel's wedding - so it's always fun to already know the bride before the actual day. The wedding was beautiful. They had their ceremony in Covina and the reception at the Coyote Hills Country Club in Fullerton. Here is a slide show of some of our favorites:

Nectaria has the words "I DO" painted on her toes. Too Cute!
