In December I did the CDM High School Waterpolo
teams' photos - here are a few shots - (I promise I will update more soon! -
just playing catch up with everything
else)

Lauer Family
The Lauer Family is one of my favorite families.
I have known the mom/wife since I was born (practically). She is so
appreciative of anything Brian and I do - it's so refreshing to take their
photos! :) She wanted lots of candids this year. Here are some I
like:
This last one - not a great photo -
but cool setting - isn't it?

NCL Ball
We had the annual National Charity League
Debutante Ball the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Here are the group
shots.

Jouret Family
This family was friends of a bride I photographed
and asked for some family shots. Here are some candids from the session. The
boys LOVED this huge sand pile that was at the beach. They couldn't get enough
of it! :)

Johnson Maternity
Brian and I photographed this couple's wedding a
few weeks after I had my appendix removed and I was 7 months pregnant (that was
a hard one to do!). Now they are having their own little one - she has actually
been born as of December 31st - but here are some photos we took in the studio
and backyard.

Fight Club Men
John came back in for a quick shoot with a new
guy - all of John's friends from ultimate fighting are so nice - would never
guess they go in a ring and knock other guys out. :)

Munson Generation
The Munson's came back to the studio for a
generation session. It was neat to see so many generations together. :) My
grandmother's died quite awhile back - so it's nice to see my clients with great
relationships with their grandmothers.
And of course - some of their
immediate family -
Cute butterfly - isn't
she?

Christmas Card Families
More and more cards are going out - so I am in
the clear to post their family Christmas Cards. :)
This was a 5x7 flat card on
linen paper.
This was a 5x7 Horizontal folded card
on watercolor paper. This was one of the craziest sessions for me. I have
photographed this family for a few years now. The grandmother turned 98 the day
before the session. She passed away five hours after the photos were
taken.
Inside of the
card:
My sister and her husband in front of
my parent's tree
I liked this card - can you tell they
are hockey fans? :)

B-day and o'leary
So - I have been awful at keeping up.
I did the Debutante Ball the weekend of Thanksgiving - and have been swamped
with Christmas Card orders and getting other things ready for my clients for
Christmas. A couple ALL Nighters proved to me that I am not as young as I
think. All-nighters used to be "cake" in college - but with two kids - wow -
definitely hard.
Anyway - my b-day
was yesterday. Didn't do much - since it was Sunday. My husband cooked me
breakfast (a treat for me!) and we went to church. After church I went and
supported my mom in a christmas concert she directed. It was nice - but longer
than I thought - so by the time I got home, the day was over. :( Some of my
family went over to Craig & Carly's house and we hung out for awhile - but
all in all - nothing eventful. B-day's were such a big deal when I was younger
- but it seems the older you get, the less you do. I am grateful to be healthy
and happy with a family that loves me. I feel so LUCKY! Lots of b-days in
December - so you will be seeing lots of cake!
:)
O'Learys - I LOVE this family! Two of
the coolest guys - that are great with each other. It was a fun quick shoot.
Since their mom already sent out the cards - figured it was okay to post it now.
It was a linen 5x7 card (two sides).

Dalton's
I LOVE this family! We skipped last year - so
it was fun to see the kids again this year - so much bigger! Their son
definitely gives them a run for their money! If my two little guys have as much
energy as he does - I am in for it! :)
With all the family posts - I am
trying not to do anything that might show off their christmas cards - once the
holidays are over - I will post some of my clients cards so you can see what we
have been up to. :)
Their youngest has grown sooo
much!
He liked using the frog to "get us" -
one of the tricks we use to get the kids to smile. It almost always turns on
us...some reason the kids like to get us
afterwards.
Their daughter was great - posed for
almost every shot. :)
Their son sitting still for .5
seconds! :)

Kettley Boys Halloween
My brother had me take some photos of his cute
boys for Halloween in their costumes.

Fight Club
A friend from an old printing lab I used - asked
me to take photos of her boyfriend before his upcoming fight. They brought
their "baby" along too!
She got some new "guns" and wanted a
shot of them.
It was fun seeing you guys! Good luck
with the future fights.

Broberg Family Reunion
I was lucky enough to photograph this amazing
family while they were in Southern CA for a family reunion. It was definitely a
challenge with all the kids - but they are so cute. :) Lots of head swaps - but
it turned out.

TRASH YOUR DRESS SESSION
This is a new thing I have gotten into -
and think it's a ton of fun! After the wedding is over - before you take your
dress to get cleaned - why not get some great shots that you would not have
dared to do on the actual wedding day. This couple got married at Tivoli Too -
and we didn't take photos offsite the day of. So - we went to the beach and
asked her to "TRASH YOUR DRESS". :)
