- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced

Directions
Combine ingredients in a small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and cool. Stores well in fridge for weeks.
This is the yummiest teriyaki sauce I've ever had. In my former life I won a Church pot luck by marinating beef in this and grilling it.
Now, I use frozen tofu (defrost and cut in chunks) it has a firmer texture than regular tofu. "Tastes just like chicken!" We like to add steam-fried broccoli and carrots on top of rice.
