Ingredients
- 1 cup walnuts , or other nuts (almonds, cashews, pine, etc.)
- 1 cup soymilk , or other non-dairy milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric, added for color

Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Slice bread thick, or if using pre-sliced bread, you can slice in half. Dip in coating and cook on a pre-heated non-stick skillet sprayed with a little bit of oil spray.
TIP: If your bread is not the thick type, then use a pastry brush to brush on the coating so your bread doesn't get soggy and rip in two. Brush both sides with the coating and then cook as usual, until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or sliced bananas or other fruit.
