Crystal is a very creative and ambitious person. Her ambitions
can sometimes lead to impromptu actions, especially during stressful activities,
but she's pretty level-headed most of the time. She had practiced
a little bit of swordplay before coming along, which turns out to be a
useful skill. Crystal tends to think a bit more abstractly than the
scientists and engineers in the party, often relying on intuition when
nothing else seems to make sense. She's also an avid game player.
There is some hint as to a relationship between Paul and Crystal, but it
isn't obvious what kind of relationship it is.
