September 2005: The Thomas' Regency Tea

The Thomas' Regency Tea was a big success! With photo shoots, high tea, an encouraging message shared by Jennie Chancey, period music, singing, dancing, and talking galore, we had the time of our lives! It was especially wonderful to have my favorite cousins there and to be able to dance for a good four hours! It was also neat to meet the Chancey family; I absolutely fell in love with Isabelle, and she favored me with close attention the whole day! What fun!

I hope you enjoy these pictures from the event.

My best friend Marscel and I pose for a picture.

The guest speaker Mrs. Jennie Chancey and her precious daughters; Isabelle and Felicity.

My beautiful sister, Rebekah.

The (older :) Flynn Ladies.

Front Row: Katherine, Anna.

Back Row: Amanda (me), Mom, Rebekah, Lydia.

And now with my only brother, Aidan.

Add Pa and you've got our family (except for the three youngest, who stayed home :).

Tea time in the Thomas' backyard.

I am sitting next to my wonderful Nana, who joined us for the day. Lydia and Bekah are to the right.

My "twin" Melanie with Felicity Chancey.

Mrs. Chancey speaks about godly womanhood, bringing encouragement to everyone present.

My "big sister" Melissa watching Belle Chancey during the talk. Don't they look like they stepped out of a movie?

Two beautiful shots of Melissa and Belle. Aren't they so lovely?

Mom and I enjoying the tea.

Me with my dear friend Christina, who I hardly ever see, but love so much!

Kate and Belle run around the front yard together.

Isabelle Olivia Chancey.

And here come the dancing pictures!!!

Here we are all lined up to dance.

Melanie is our official caller. She has such patience and even sits out of dances to call so that other people can enjoy themselves. What a servant!

One of the few dancing shots in which I look nice :) - taking a turn with Mr. Chancey in "The Virginia Reel".

Josh (my cousin and dance partner) and I dance down the line in "The Virginia Reel".

Doing "The Grand March", lead by Mr. and Mrs. Chancey.

Isabelle, caught in the midst of the dancing, looks on in wonder.

After nearly everyone had gone and we were hanging out, Melissa was inspired to trace my silhouette.

And so ended a lovely day!
