OpenGL Clan Lord Client

The GL client (screenshots) is now available for testing. Some testers have found it to be stable as a rock, some find it crashes continually. You have been warned. (The OpenGL Clan Lord Client is UNRELATED to the CLv2 client.)

Please report all errors directly to me (jeffray@mac.com). Include screenshots, crashlogs, and system profile reports, if possible. Please do not use /bug, as there is currently no mechanism for these reports to be routed to me. You can report bugs on the Sentinel forum, but I sometimes miss these. Don't use the Sentinel's forum mail, I rarely read it.

The Least You Need To Know:
1) It's beta software. User assumes all risk.
2) Using OpenGL on the ATI Rage 128 under OSX WILL eventually crash your system.
3) The first time you use the GL client, you must enable GL in the Advanced Prefs.
4) The "special effects" option should default to on; if not, set it yourself.
5) If you have turned down your night setting, you might want to turn it back up.

Current status:
•One AGP related crash when using the ATI Rage 128 under OSX. Use of any OpenGL program (not just the GL client) on this system will eventually result in a kernal panic.

The GL Client will not use the Rage 128 under OSX (use OS 9 instead). This may be overridden by setting the "use old hardware" option. If using OS 9, be sure your driver is up to date.
