Symphonic Theology

I see that Vern Poythress's wonderful little book Symphonic Theology is now available online. I have said before that if everyone would just read this book and meditate on the implications of what Poythress says about the way language functions in theology, a whole lot of dangerous silliness would be avoided.

Here's a little excercise for theology 101 students. First read chapter 6 in Symponic Theology. Don't cheat; carefully read the whole chapter. Now, after you're finished read this, especially points #1 and 2. I'll resist the temptation to say anyting. You decide.

The question that begs to be answered after one reads this church session's accusations: Is Poythress condemned? Is he paving the way for the free flow of heresies with his teaching? Are the many students of Poythress, who agree with his statements here, are they also condemned?
