 I just finished watching the episode of Lost that I missed last night. I downloaded it from the iTunes music store and played it on the new iTunes 6.0. My DVD recorder didn't work last night, so I'm taking it back to Best Buy tomorrow. But Steve Jobs debuted the new video service for iTunes at just the right time. Thank you, Steve.
It amazing the quality they can pack into a 190 MB MPEG-4 file. I watched full screen on my 19 inch monitor and it wasn't bad at all. Of course, it wasn't exactly like a progressive scan DVD on an HD TV like I'm used to. But, hey, I was pretty surprised. Now, when my new iPod comes in next week, I can watch the next episode or so in bed at night. Too cool.
Oh, and one more thing. . . watch Steve Jobs do his magic at the Apple media event. |
