| My wife and I just celebrated 25 years of marriage. Wow, we were just kids in 1979. But then we look at each other and wonder, "Are we old?" I'll leave that question for others to answer. I do know this: we had a great time last night. We stayed at the Ritz in St. Louis and relaxed. Up on the 16th floor we had a spectacular view of the city. And the storms came in yesterday afternoon while we were sitting on the balcony drinking wine. We had three great meals. For dinner we ate steak at Citizen Kane's in Kirkwood. Man, they have the BEST steak in town. Their New York Strip is heavenly. I don't think I've had a better strip at Ruth's Chris. Then for lunch today we went to Figaro's in Clayton. We had some wonderful fresh hummus for an appetizer. The presentation at this restaurant is stunning. And the weather was almost cool, so we sat out on the sidewalk. Now I'm back in my basement office sitting in from of the ole computer. Life goes on. |
