O'ahu, HI


One lazy afternoon, as I sat in my office, I decided to buy a ticket to O'ahu. A week later, I found myself in a strange new world. This is my story.

   
My first road trip took me to the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
Ginger's first time behind the wheels of a convertible through the Pali Highway

We finally reached the clear blue waters of Kailua Bay.
Notice how the waters aren't nasty brown like they are in California
On the way back we stopped over

Except, over there they use Spam instead of fish and store them in hot dog heaters
Look how ass ugly Honolulu is.
The concierge desk told us that North Shore is good for snorkeling. My ass.
So we trekked back down Interstate H2
through the Dole pineapple plantations
and hit H1 rush hour traffic
We finally arrived at Hanauma Bay
This camera works in salt water, right?
Spent an hour to capture this damn sea turtle

Don't hike O'ahu's windward coast. It's boring and takes forever to drive to.
