Still learning how to paint

Monsters

  • Naga (front view)
  • Naga (side view)
  • Naga (rear view)
  • Naga (side view)
Naga  This is my player killer.  Every time I get her out, a player dies.

  • Mummy (Front View)
  • Mummy (Rear View)
Mummy  A fast and easy job.  I was playing with how priming black affected the final fig.  If I were to repaint this, I'd have a stronger yellow color somewhere in it.

  • Visage (front)
  • Visage (back)
  • Visage
Visage  This was one of my first modifications of a fig.  The creature is supposed to have a  expressionless mask over its face.  I think the look comes very close the artwork.

  • Stampy
  • Stampy
Stampy  At nearly twice the size of most of the figs, this guy was a blast to paint.  This was one of the Reaper charity figs from the Asian tsunami.

  • Well of Doom
  • Well of Doom
Well of Doom  I went with a Mardi Gras theme for this one.  Something about the way the arms sit  reminded me of a jester hat.  The colors work to make this look very alien.  However, they don't work in that they don't look like something coming out a well.

Spectre  My challenge to myself with this one was to paint it in as short a time as possible.  I think I spent an hour total on the painting part.  I really like the sculpt on this fig.  I'm not sure how well the  incorporeal  nature comes out in the painting, but it still looks pretty cool.
