 So Ricky's made a habit of escaping from his pen today. Gene and I made the mistake of leaving at the same time for work this morning. Ricky basically freaked out and kept jumping when we locked the front door. By the time I arrived at my office and was able to check the webcam, Ricky had already jumped out of his pen and essentially had free-reign of the apartment. I left work at noon to make sure that Ricky was ok and get him back into his pen, this time leaving the door to his room slightly less ajar. When I got to work, he was again free, and he moved his pen fencing around.... *sigh*
This time, he closed the door to his room himself, so now he's a bit more limited with the shenanigans he can accomplish. He was able to freely move behind the black box into his pen for food/drink earlier, but I think he closed that avenue himself... he should be able to open that part of the fencing again if he needs to (I saw him poking his head through the fencing behind the box earlier).
Hopefully he'll be ok until we can get back home from work tonight.
