About QuickTime
QuickTime was developed by Apple Computer, Inc., as a video and sound authoring and viewing environment, on the web and in a variety of other applications. This set of web pages requires the use of the web browser plugin for QuickTime 7 and above, which may be downloaded for free from Apple's QuickTime site at www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. Both the sound and video files using the extension .mov should play using the QuickTime Player; some sound files are in .mp3 format, which can be played with QuickTime Player, Windows Media Player, and other plugins.
Viewing YouTube videos requires the Flash plugin. Unfortunately, we have no control over the content that resides on YouTube. Please let Mr. Waggoner know if any YouTube links go dead, and they will be removed from subsequent editions.
