1. Saute butter and onion in heavy saucepan.
2. Stir in mushrooms, saute 5 minutes.
3. Add broth, parsley and salt & pepper. Simmer 20 minutes.
4. Stir in sherry and ladle into bowls.
5. Top each bowl with a bagel crisp spread with brie. Serve quickly.
