Roast corn in a 400 degree oven until slightly browned, 15-25 minutes.
Dice potatoes small and cook in the steamer until tender (25-30 minutes)/

Melt the butter n a large stockpot over medium heat. Add onion, peppers, garlic, Creole seasoning and thyme. Cook until the vegetable are soft, 8-10 minutes.

Add the flour and stir to combine. Gradually add the clam juice and bring to a boil. Add the cream. Simmer 15 minutes.

Add the corn, potatoes, scallions, crab and honey. Cook until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Notes: Good to make a day ahead.
