Creation Rotation: In the Beginning...
During this rotation we studied the Genesis accounts of God's amazing Creation!

In CyberSpace we first read the story from our Bibles.
We used Awesome Bible Stories to explore the story.
It was pretty AWESOME!
In Bible Quest we went on a photo scavenger hunt.
We divided into teams and searched for examples of God's creation.
God created me!
Later we made a movie and scrapbook pages using our pictures.
In HolyWord Theatre we watched a movie.
Then we wrote in our journals.
We drew pictures and wrote about our favorite of God's creation.
Let there be light!
In Moved by the Spirit, Mrs. Jane reviews the story.
and points to the colorful wrist scarves the 4-6 graders will use.
Thinking about the colors of creation...
And choosing the different colors.
They used the wrist scarves to demonstrate God's colorful world!
Our world is a rainbow of colors!
When it's hard to choose, take one of each!
LIstening to the story....
Mrs. Jane reads the Bible with the K-3 graders.
The "waters" before God separated them.
"Let there be a huge space between the waters..."
"God called the huge space 'sky.'"
The oceans and dry ground are formed.
God said "Let the waters be filled with living things...."
God said, "Let the land produce all kinds of living creatures."
We painted six sections of the table for the six days of Creation.
We created a Creation Table in our Art workshop.
We drew examples of people and animals for the sixth day.
Thinking about designs...
Priming the table base.
K-3 graders drew their favorite animals, too!
There were large sections to paint...
and small, delicate details.
This project took several weeks to complete!
Choosing what colors to use was a big decision!
We even painted the shelf underneath!
It was a GREAT project!
Reading the story in Solid Rock Cafe.
Finding the story each week improves our Bible skills!
Mr. Gary discusses the story!
The repetition each week helps us remember!
Then we made Creation Snack Bags to review the days of Creation.
We chose seven different snacks. Are those oreo cookies?
filling the bags with yummy stuff.
An example of our completed Creation Snack Bags!
