| | This is the corner hutch/shelf thingy with my mom's china finally unpacked after 30+ years of being in a box. All of it was bought in the late 40s/early 50s, and the stack of plates on the left has the "Made in Occupied Japan" stamp on the bottom. In decent condition too. |
| | | Screw Red-Eye, we have GREEN! I have no idea how I did this, but it's not a Photoshop trick. |
| | | Alex is happy. No furniture, no nothing, but he's got a computer to play on. |
|
| | Alex's room 1st night. He had a sleeping bag and his Gameboy SP, so he was all set. |
| | | my closet, first night. Just enough clothes for work...it's really quite large...I could ALMOST put a little dressing table in there, but then, it's not like I need one. |
| | | View from Balcony, which is big enough for a hammock! |
|
| | my bathtub! First night heaven == a nice big tub, cold beer, and comic books to read! |
| | | Zelda's new spot. Yes, this is the stupidest cat I've ever had to deal with. At least she hasn't peed on me again. That little stubby is all the tail she has BTW. |
| | | Doorway/foyer, with the Rock standing guard. The Rock is still there, along with Buddy Christ, although the shelves now have china and other things on them. |
|
| | kitchen w/beer, cheerios, and PB...man-heaven. It's actually nicely laid out, and having two microwaves doesn't suck at all. |
| | | living room...I'll have to take more pics now that I have stuff in my house. |
| | | Taken AFTER the accident, Honda's RULE. Even after hitting a guard rail in N.C., (I-40 SUCKS!!!), it was mechanically sound, so he cruised along at 90-95 across Tennesee and into Kansas City. I love my car. |
|
| | NOT a happy cat. Oh well, sucks to be a small animal without opposable thumbs... |
| | | Alex reading "Golem in the Gears" by Piers Anthony for the second time. |

| | | Driver's side rear quarterpanel. Once I got some of the really broken stuff away from the tires, he drove jes' peachy. |

| | | Alex and smoke bombs. At a friend's place in South Carolina, Alex discovered his inner Pyromaniac...that's my boy! |
| | | Alex passed out in VA. He slept about 60% of the trip I think...good kid to travel with. |
