Jeff Rayner is a British born photographer from Canterbury in the UK - He now resides in Los Angeles and has done for the past 7 years - He travels the world on assignments for most of the British press including The London Times - Mail on Sunday - Daily Mirror - The Sun - Sunday Mirror - The Guardian - to name but a few - In this photo he is pictured during the fury of Hurricane Isabelle whilst on assignment for the Daily Mirror in North Carolina. |

Jeff first became interested in photography from the age of 15 - From there he went on to do a Professional 3 year City and Guilds course in Thanet - Whilst there Jeff attended work experience at the local paper - He quickly moved on to Nottingham to study a degree in photography - Jeff has won many international photographic awards and has had several exhibitions in the UK - Jeff first started his career on the local Hastings Observer Newspaper in Sussex - He was quickly snapped up by the local news agency, Connors after less than a year at the paper - Finally after covering hard news and features for the national newspapers in London Jeff was offered a job in Los Angeles with the news agency Splash. |

After 4 years at Splash Jeff decided to take the chance to go freelance and has never looked back - He has appeared on several US television shows offering advice for up and coming stars on how to deal with the press - He has also had many articles written about him including features in the Daily Telegraph and Mail on Sunday - Jeff was the first photographer inside the "Superdome" during the disaster in New Orleans - He tagged himself onto the first convoy of buses entering the disaster zone to get the first pictures of the "Mayhem within" - Jeff is currently filming a show for the E entertainment channel about the 101 sexiset bodies in showbiz - Here Jeff is photographed on the deserted streets of New Orleans after the hurricane hit |
