Legendary B-movie actor Bruce Campbell plays himself in the new film MY NAME IS BRUCE, which opens theatrically on October 31 in New York. MY NAME IS BRUCE doesn’t have a standard issue release date because we’re doing something for the film that doesn’t seem to be done anymore. Campbell is traveling to every opening city to be at the opening theatre for the first night or two. As such, Bruce is working his way across the country between November and December, in a new city every few days. (Who else nowadays goes on a two month PA tour?) The movie’s opening in a given market is predicated on Bruce’s travel to that city. As examples, after New York, the film opens in Boston on November 5, in Detroit November 21, in Chicago November 28 and winds up in Los Angeles on December 19. Ultimately, the film will play in about 15 markets.
Ryan Newman wins first Craftsman Truck Series start
Ryan Newman made his first start in the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series and won! He raced for Kevin Harvick's #2 team. Started in 10th and won the race. Let's see if this translates to the cup race tomorrow. GO RYAN!
Anyone that has iCal or a similar calendar program can subscribe. Right now it has the remaining races for 2008 and the entire Sprint Cup schedule for 2009. The times and networks aren't available yet but I will update the calendar as that information becomes available. So if you subscribe to my calendar you'll have all the latest dates and times. Leave me a comment on how to improve the calendar. Thanks!
I installed this program on my phone that uses my current GPS location and uploads it to the net so friends can see where I am. I know it's kinda creepy to have people know where I am but I have the ability to upload and not upload it whenever I want instead of keeping it on constantly. You can see the map on the right to find my last seen location.
Why doesn't Eric Wareheim (of Tim and Eric's Awesome Show) do more music videos? They're all pretty much INCREDIBLE! CHECK IT! The MGMT video is GREAT!
I got my new phone, the MWg Zinc II, and it's pretty damn sweet. It's pretty much an updated and faster version of the Windows Mobile phone that I had before, the T-Mobile MDA. This time instead of using Bluetooth GPS it has GPS built in. I get to use the same software that I used before which is great cause I had a lot of bookmarks. The keyboard is a little awkward, not as good as the MDA but I can see myself getting used to it. I love it, so call me!
I think it looks pretty sharp. I can hardly wait to see it in action with Ryan Newman behind the wheel. You know, blowing tires and going into the wall.
Whoa! The Army is sponsoring Ryan Newman's no. 39 car next year for Tony Stewart's team. That's pretty badass. I don't know how an Army hat would look on me but I guess that's pretty cool.
I have uploaded a gallery of some of the pictures that I took at Bryan and Keilynn's wedding on Saturday. Be sure to take note of the stargate ice sculpture from the movie and TV show Stargate.
I had a fantastic weekend. On Saturday I was at the Seaview Resort and Spa near Atlantic City for Bryan and Keilynn's wedding. The place is beautiful. After the ceremony the guys gave out very good cigars. Because I know them all they kept giving me more. By the end of it all I had 22 cigars. Which is more than is in a box. HA! I feel guilty for taking so many and I'm going to ask Bryan if he wants some back.
The reception was great! The table that I was appointed at didn't have enough seats. I would have sat with the DeLorenzo's and the Murray's but there wasn't enough room so Bryan's sister put me at another table that just had 3 people and that was such a great move. I met awesome new friends who I really hope to see again soon. I just stayed at the table and talked to my new friends all night. The DeLorenzo's and Murray's wanted me back at their table but nothing could take me away. It was a great time.
Tonight I'll be at Jo Jo's with the guys again. I'm curious to see if Bryan gets in trouble for going to Jo Jo's right after he got married. Crazy guys.
Last night I went to the Borgata in Atlantic City. My buddy Bryan is getting married this Saturday. I couldn't make it for all of the bachelor party festivities but I was able to at least make it for dinner. During the day they all went and played paintball. After dinner they hung out at a club at the casino. Even though I couldn't do everything I still had a good time. I look forward to this weekend for the big wedding. Anyone want to be my date?
