I graduated with a BA (Hons) degree (2:1) in Fine Art from UWIC, Cardiff in 2002 and since then I have personally taken part in more than seventy exhibitions.
My oil paintings are developed from my ink and watercolour drawings of everyday and familiar / found objects. I use bold bright colour, surrounded by fluid black outlines and large areas of white. In my latest paintings I have focussed in on smaller and smaller areas of my drawings meaning the viewer does not see what the starting point is. I produce figurative drawings & paintings from life. I also take photographs. In my photography, I like to focus in on everyday objects similar to how I produce my paintings, the things that people may not notice.

As part of my studies, in 2001, I went on an exchange to an art college in Italy for three months. While I was there, I learnt some of the language & organised an exhibition with two other artists. I now organise & promote exhibitions with HeadSpace @ EggSpace & I have helped to organise around 40 exhibitions in total.
I am part of Capture Photographers who photograph weddings & events.
I am a musician: I sing, play guitar and I play regular gigs in and around Liverpool. I am also part of Sense of Sound Choir, and have been performing with them since early 2005. Sense of Sound were recently the featured choir on Russell Watson's UK tour & were also recently performed with Paco Pena in his Requiem For The Earth. Last year Sense of Sound Choir reached 6th place in Last Choir Standing, the search for Britain's Favourite Choir, that was televised on BBC1. Sense Of Sound were also recently featured on Songs Of Praise on BBC1 & recently performed: In Liverpool The Musical at the Echo Arena alongside The Farm, Gary Christian, Dave Stewart & Ringo Star; At the Royal Variety Performance alongside Seal & Jon Bon Jovi; And as part of the Liverpool Nativity. The choir have also worked with & performed alongside Damon Albarn, David Coulter & Chrissy Hinde amongst others. In 2006 the choir made it through to the finals of BBC Radio 3 Choir Of The Year.

I have been involved in running various art, photography & music workshops since 2004 with The Umbrella Centre (PSS) as a result of a placement I did with them whilst on a Community Arts Management course at LCAD, with Catalyst Performing Arts, with Roscoe Junior School and with Delfina Women Ltd.
