I have been struggling with depression since I was a child. I finally saw a psychiatrist when I was 30 years old and very suicidal. He put me on Prozac and I felt happy and stable for the three months I was using it. I had to discontinue usage because of a physically painful side effect. I struggled with the ups and downs for another nine years. During the fall of 2004 I was coming out of a long two-year depression. I began to feel myself slipping back down again. Out of desperation, I decided to see a psychiatrist and try medication again. My inner voice (intuition) was strongly telling me not to go on medication, but I didn't see any other option.
That is when I heard about Jaymes Devine from a friend. I decided to got to him because my friend sad that her session with him was very powerful. I had my first treatment on November 1st, 2004. Since that time I have had some great emotional releases and have felt happy and stable again. At the time of this writing, I have felt emotionally well for five months; which is unusual for me. I am able to participate in life again! This is a huge blessing. I am thankful for the work that Jaymes does and would recommend him to anyone.

I was busy working around the house today when I got a 
flash of your face when you, (my friend) and I were in the backyard - preparing to shave my head (because of chemotherapy) - My heart was heavy - a veil was lifting, I was reforming who was - looks/hair can be so important - especially when the change is so fast or dramatic - and not yet fully decided - and I am again brought to the look on your face - it was real and a realization of task and moment and true holding of wholeness.

It was through the director (of CORE El Centro) that I learned CORE offered Brennan Healing Science. A friend had loaned me the book "Hands of Light" by Barbara Brennan so I was eager to try a session out. I've gone once a month since October 2004 (written June, 2005). I have experienced many remarkable changes in my life since then. I was already on a spiritual path at the time, but having sessions with Jaymes clarified and accelerated my process of healing. I feel my Higher Power/Guides are able to work with Jaymes in helping me to reach my full potential. Friends of mine that have started seeing Jaymes have also had many breakthroughs.
For me, the sessions have been very powerful in helping me to integrate and heal trauma and unresolved issues from my past. Not through "medication" or years of dwelling on and rehashing my childhood, but by enabling me to quickly connect with and access help from the spiritual dimension. It is a form of psychic (etheric) surgery. It works from the inside out, treating the root/core cause of the physical or emotional issue; rather than trying to treat the many surface symptoms or manifestations of the problem. It hasn't been disempowering to me the way traditional healthcare and psychiatry have been because I see it as assisting the Higher Consciousness (or healing, recovery) that wants to and is trying to emerge in my life. It helps it by assisting me in releasing, healing and integrating past traumas that blocked me from living in my body, from living in the present moment, from living in the now.
It is clear to me that my recovery, healing, and spiritual growth are dependent on me cooperating and co-creating that with my Higher Power. But when you break a leg, getting a cast put on it, helps the body in healing the bone faster. Or if you were giving birth, it makes the process your going through easier, by having a midwife present. That is really what Jaymes has done for me. I was going through a process of recovery when I started the sessions with him, and he has made that process easier, smoother, quicker, more comfortable, less painful then it would have been for me otherwise. I don't believe that anyone can do the work of healing for me, but it is so much easier, happier, and so on, not doing it by myself. I highly recommend allowing you the opportunity to have a Brennan Healing session with Jaymes. I also suggest reading the book "Hands of Light" to learn more about the process.
