New! Moth Photos. A gallery of my moth photos organized by taxonomic group. As of January 2, 2011, it consists of 197 photos of 164 species.
Updated! World Bird Photos. A gallery of my bird photos organized by taxonomic group. As of January 29, 2012 it consists of 413 photos of 254 bird species.
New! Scenic Photos. As of April 5, 2010 it consists of 91 film and digital photos from places that I've visited or lived in, including Alaska, Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos, western New York State, Massachusetts, and Arizona.
New! Butterflies and Skippers. As of April 24, 2010, it consists of 59 photos of 40 species. They are organized by taxonomic group, using the taxonomy and nomenclature of Bugguide.net. Other insect galleries are yet to come. Some of my other insect photos can be seen at Bugguide.net where I am a contributing editor.
Thousand Acre Swamp. 100 photos of scenery, plants, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fungi, slime mold, insects and spiders, all taken at Thousand Acre Swamp, a Nature Conservancy Preserve near Penfield, NY.
Mainland Ecuador. About 90 photos of birds, scenery, plants, butterflies, and other invertebrates from a trip to mainland Ecuador in February and March of 2006.
Galapagos Islands. About 70 photos of birds, reptiles, one mammal, plants, and scenery from a trip to the Galapagos in March, 2006.
Western New York Bird Photo Gallery. 155 photos with 111 bird species, all taken in western New York.
Erie Canal in Brighton, NY. 26 photos of scenery and wildlife made during walks along the canal through a somewhat pastoral area that is now severely threatened by development.
