Playware Studios hopes to travel swiftly from game prototype to global domination. Its CEO explains the plan...

Siddharth Jain is the head of a company which develops massively multiplayer, online arena games. Playware Studios (PWS) is a very new company, based in Asia, that is funded by the Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore. CEO Jain explains how the MDA's support allowed it to develop a prototype for demonstration to distributors and partners, and helped foster opportunities for business development across the region.

Siddharth Jain also talks about the challenges of operating in a business context, under a veil of secrecy (to protect their hot new game ideas). And he describes the value of meeting people with similar businesses from countries around the world at the X|Media Lab at Broadcast Asia in Singapore.
