Janet Christian started Mermaid House Personalized Exterior Decorating after almost 10 years of building ponds as a hobby. She also built her own sprinkler and drip irrigation systems and installed low voltage lighting throughout her yard.

Janet is a licensed Landscape Irrigator in the state of Texas (LI# 9164) and GatorGard spray in pond liner system Certified Installer TX001. Janet is also a certified Waterwise Irrigator with the Texas Water Conservation District.
