Dispelling the Myth: A Study of Two Cultures in Arizona is a WebQuest cultural site developed for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students by students. Despite some broken graphics links, the site is worth visiting. It includes goals of the quest, research tasks to do, group process, resources, and a culminating activity complete with an evalutation rubric.

Arizona Native Americans - a collection of books, manuscripts, and websites relating to the Native Americans of Arizona. Most of the criteria was collected from the book  Indian tribes of the American Southwest, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado by John Reed Swanton. Information includes Arizona Indian Tribes, different name changes, location, history,  what linguistic group they belong to, their history as it relates to white settlement, and various other topics.There is also a list of books on the specific tribe and website information, which includes Indian Reservations and Official Websites.

National Parks Service: Canyon de Chelly includes information on travel basics, camping, lodging, activities, facilities, fees/permits. There is a printable travel guide available for download, as well as a variety of resource links.

(the unofficial Tony Hillerman Homepage) Mr. Hillerman is a noted writer of mysteries set in the Navajo Nation (which includes portions of New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah). This site provides the following information: map, photos, biography, address, awards, books, criticisim, profiles, interviews, and relevant links.
The Official J. A. Jance Website: J. A. Jance is also a mystery writer, with many books set in Arizona where she lived a good portion of her life. Her site includes photographs, a short biography, a description of her books, a newsletter, and schedule of her upcoming tours. I met her in Ashland, Oregon, several years ago and found her friendly and delightful.
